But Slumdog Millionaire-actress’ latest outing in a Louis Vuitton blue dress at the Paris Fashion Week has left many aghast. “Not the stylish Freida we know,” says Aprajita Shishoo, 27, a fashion enthusiast.

The design fraternity seems to think alike. “It’s hideous,” says Abhishek Gupta of the label Fightercock. “This look has totally gone wrong. Outrageously trendy looks can sometimes borderline on being aesthetically non-flattering, which is definitely the case in point here.”

Fellow designer Amit GT agrees with Abhishek. “The outfit is a disaster,” says Amit and adds, “The top looks like a leotard from her aerobics classes.”

Designer Rahul Jain says it’s “horrible and even the accessories have gone wrong.” Harmeet Bajaj, fashion director, Bian, feels the dress is really nice, it’s just the way Freida is standing thats making it look a little awkward. “For this outfit, you need the right attitude and it’s not being communicated by Freida,” she says.
