Varun Dhawan is giving us major fitness inspiration in this exercise video

Varun Dhawan, after the success of his film October, is currently training hard for his next Kalank, which will hit the screens in April 2019.

Following the success of his last film, October, actor Varun Dhawan is back with a bang to shoot for his next Kalank, a period drama directed by Abhishek Varman. Knowing Varun’s dedication towards his fitness and workouts, Varman has reportedly set up a gym on the film’s sets itself.

Varun’s trainer Prashant Sawant recently shared a video of the actor preparing for Kalank, which will hit the screens in April 2019.

In the video, Varun Dhawan can be seen flaunting his washboard abs and sculpted arms, giving us all mere mortals total #fitnessgoals.

Early start

The Judwaa 2 actor has always been known as a fitness freak, drawing inspiration from his idols like Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger even as a teenager. In his interviews, he’s often credited his fitness to swimming while growing up, an activity he continues even today.

Varun believes in combining various workouts to keep fit. His trainer, Sawant (who’s also trained Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn) mixes up martial arts, weightlifting and heavy-duty cardio to ensure that Varun works all his core muscles.

Varun Dhawan makes sure to workout at least four to six times in a week, depending on his schedule. He’s also enthusiastic about pilates and trains with celebrity trainer Namrata Purohit to improve his flexibility and core strength. He posts regular videos of his workout on his Instagram to inspire his followers.
