Upset Constantine prompts change of hotel

The AIFF was forced to shift Indian probables for the national football camp to another hotel after the coach expressed his displeasure.

Even as only 13 footballers reported for the national camp so far, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) was forced to shift the probables to another hotel after chief coach Stephen Constantine expressed his displeasure.

According to AIFF sources, the national coach did not like the facilities available in the hotel and asked the federation to make alternative arrangements.

Meanwhile, two footballers — Stephen Dias and Sandeep Nandy — will not join the camp as both are injured. Bhaichung Bhutia, too, is yet to join.
