The minor’s father, who was sleeping with her on the roof, had gone downstairs to administer medicine to his ailing wife when the accused allegedly forced himself on her, the police said. Her mother was sleeping in a room.
Police said that the minor’s eight-year-old brother had also decided to sleep on the roof. He was too scared to raise the alarm as the accused attacked his sister, police said.
