Actress Leah Remini quits Scientology
“King of Queens” star Leah Remini has quit Church of Scientology reportedly after being subjected to years of interrogations. The actress released a statement thanking her fans for supporting her but stopped short of citing the reason behind her decision.

“King of Queens” star Leah Remini has quit Church of Scientology reportedly after being subjected to years of interrogations. The actress released a statement thanking her fans for supporting her but stopped short of citing the reason behind her decision.
According to New York Post, which first broke the story, Remini was put through interrogation for asking about Scientology leader David Miscavige’s wife during the wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes in 2006.
Remini said, “I wish to share my sincere and heartfelt appreciation for the overwhelming positive response I have received from the media, my colleagues, and fans from around the world. I am grateful for all your support.”
