The Mad Max actor is planning to walk down the aisle on her 40th birthday i.e. August 7, the Daily Star reported.

An insider spilled the beans that the duo is going to slip away to South Africa and get married in August, probably on Theron's birthday.

Speaking about working with him, she said in an interview: ''Putting aside that he's my partner, he's the love of my life; for the first time, I felt that my work was really bleeding into my life and that made it hard.''

She said she would choose Penn, 54, over her career. She said: ''There were moments where I was incredibly unfair to him. And moments where I felt like ... He was incredibly unfair to me. But it makes you realise that no matter how complicated it gets, the priority is the relationship.''
