Fans of Christopher Nolan, rejoice. The acclaimed British director, who is awaiting release of his film Interstellar, will be in IIT Bombay on December 28 to attend its prestigious festival, Mood Indigo.

The news was shared by Mood Indigo on its Twitter handle, which is also running a Nolan contest whose winners will get to attend the event.
The director -- who is known for his films such as the darkly menacing Batman trilogy, the mind-bending Inception and the existential thriller Memento, among others -- is considered one of the most formidable talents amongst present-day filmmakers.
Mood Indigo, the annual cultural festival of IIT Bombay, began in 1971 and is now celebrating its 44th edition.
After the announcement, many fans of the director expressed excitement over the news.
Theja Rio, one of the users, punned on the hits he’s directed and wrote, “After reading this I’m having ‘Insomnia’. Losing my memories like ‘Memento’. For far too long, Nolan has been the idol I have been ‘Following’. Nolan has been my hero since the ‘Inception’ of my filmmaking obsession. Remarkable reputation and ‘Prestige’ in the film industry. Christopher Nolan is a ‘Dark Knight’ when it comes to filmmaking. My love for this man goes beyond Interstellar’ (sic).”
Another user, Saurabh Naren, wrote on Twitter, “WHAT! THIS CANNOT BE A JOKE!! tell me how to get an entry! any form? any enrollment? or direct entry on I-card? (sic).”
Nolan is making waves again with his upcoming sci-fi adventure Interstellar, starring Oscar-winner Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and veteran actor Michael Caine.
