The film is expected to take place on Isla Nublar -- the fictional island setting of the first movie released in 1993 -- where the dinosaur park will be safer, properly working and one of the world's most visited places before a previously unseen dinosaur presents a new threat.

The script for Jurassic Park 4 is currently in development, with the movie expected in 2015.

Director Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) is to collaborate with original producer and director Steven Spielberg to put the finishing touches on the screenplay by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.
