Also starring Kate Beckinsale (Underworld), Jessica Biel (New Year's Eve) and Bryan Cranston (John Carter), the action thriller focuses on themes of memory, reality and fantasy.

Director Len Wiseman (Live Free Or Die Hard, Underworld: Evolution) adapted the film from the short story We Can Remember It For You Wholesale by Philip K.Dick.

The footage shows Farrell's character trying Rekall, which turns dreams into memories, when suddenly things take a turn and he discovers he's not who he thinks he is, as dreams become a nightmare. Hunted even by his beautiful wife, he teams up with a rebel fighter to find out his identity, love, and fate.

Posters for the film play off the advertising for Rekall and the fulfillment of a fantasy. Total Recall opens worldwide in August.
