Film trailer: Stiller, Vaughn and Hill in The Watch

The new trailer for The Watch, featuring an ensemble cast with Jonah Hill, Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn, was released May 23, just as Men in Black III hits theaters with a similar theme.

The new trailer for The Watch, featuring an ensemble cast with Jonah Hill (Moneyball), Ben Stiller (The Fockers) and Vince Vaughn (Couples Retreat), was released May 23, just as Men in Black III hits theaters with a similar theme.

This sci-fi comedy tells about a group of neighbors who form a vigilante-type watch as an excuse to escape their families and play cards, then end up discovering that aliens are invading the neighborhood instead of criminals. In their bumbling efforts to eliminate the extraterrestrials, everyone is under suspicion.

Written by actor Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who collaborated on Green Hornet, the movie is directed by Akiva Schaffer (Hot Rod, Saturday Night Live).

The Watch releases July 27 in North America and August worldwide, with Australian and Brazilian debuts in September.
