Idris Elba wants to be the next James Bond
During an Ask Me Anything QandA session on Reddit, a fan asked the 42-year-old actor if he would fill in the shoes for agent 007after Daniel Craig, to which Elba replied "absolutely".

Idris Elba says he would "absolutely play James Bond" if offered the role. During an Ask Me Anything QandA session on Reddit, a fan asked the 42-year-old actor if he would fill in the shoes for agent 007after Daniel Craig, to which Elba replied "absolutely," People magazine reported.
Elba, who's been signed to play Shere Khan in Jon Favreau's upcoming version of The Jungle Book, also revealed that his favourite Disney movie was, Mary Poppins.
Elba, 42, has long been a fan-favorite to play the Marvel Comics character Luke Cage, he revealed that the role has already been cast for the upcoming Netflix series of the same name.
