Team Cap charges ahead in Avengers: Infinity War battle scene.

This is the scene which stood out in the trailer of this year’s biggest release (literally and figuratively) Avengers: Infinity War – many of the superheroes charging into war with Thanos. But, as actor Anthony Mackie revealed recently – our screens were not big enough to accommodate the entire scope of the scene. For heading into war in Wakanda are a total of 40 superheroes. How the makers will show them all together beats imagination!

The shot in questions has Team Cap in charge with Black Panther’s army with them too.

Speaking at ACE Comic-Con, Mackie said: “There was one day we were on set and were doing this scene that’s in the trailer where we’re all running to battle, you know, all of us are on set and it’s like forty superheroes. I look to my right and I see Tom Holland and Dave Batista. I see them in the corner and Tom is literally the size of Dave’s leg, I don’t know what they’re talking about but Batista jumps up and does a kick-punch move and I was like ‘Yo, you’re about to kill him!’”

Chris Evans, who plays Captain America, agreed with Mackie. “That day was really fun, I know the day you’re talking about, that day was [snickers]…you’ll see. It was a great day with a lot of great people… This was kind of the first movie where you actually felt like you had a seat at the table and you belonged and it was so nice to have all these other franchises that you’ve watched and admired come to a set where you’re like, ‘oh man, I belong here, and all these great people are part of a movie that we’re all doing together’.” Evans said.

Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Don Cheadle, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Holland, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Josh Brolin, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Cobie Smulders and Benicio Del Toro.
