Disney has picked up the rights to a graphic novel series described as ‘the female Indiana Jones.’
The book, named Delilah Dirk and the Turkish Lieutenant, follows the titular protagonist as she treads the globe performing high-stakes action.
Reportedly, the first book in the series will be adapted into a 19th century-set live action film beginning with a prison escape in Turkey, says the Independent.

Author Tony Cliff released the book back in 2013 whereupon it became a New York Times bestseller.
Disney recently acquired Lucasfilm, consequently claiming the rights to both Star Wars and Indiana Jones. A fifth Indiana Jones movie starring Harrison Ford and directed by Steven Spielberg is already in the works.
