It shows the 51-year-old actor almost unrecognisable with thinning hair as Boston's notorious crime boss Whitey Bulger.
He is seen walking away from a body while carrying a gun in one of his hands, reported Ace Showbiz. "He murdered people in front of numerous witnesses in broad daylight," director Scott Cooper said. "In a word, Whitey was brazen."
He also said of the criminal, "He could be charming. He could be ruthless. He was like a cobra - you never knew where he could strike."
Bulger was an FBI informant in taking down a Mafia family who invaded his turf. However, he was later outed as a criminal himself and went into hiding when the Feds closed in on their targets. He became a fugitive for years before being arrested in 2011.
