Hollywood actor Cillian Murphy wants to pursue a career in TV after growing tired of big-budget movies. Murphy, 36, has his sight set on swapping films for TV, reported Radar online.
“I am hoping to do some telly. The smart mid-budget movie, which was my bread and butter, has been squeezed out quite a bit. People are reluctant to take a chance on a smart $17 mn movie... They’d rather go for a dumb $250 mn movie. But you don’t find that in TV where the writing just gets better and better,” Murphy said.
