In this ad photographed by David LaChapelle, the former Baywatch beauty says, "Making a splash for the environment doesn't just mean shorter showers. Try vegan."
The scene depicts that meat and dairy farms drain half of America's water supply.
"Producing 1 pound of beef uses as much water as about six months of showers," says Anderson, a PETA honorary director.

The campaign, Make a splash for the environment—try vegan, will be shown by Pamela on The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing this Thursday, May 21.
Pamela says in a statement: "Rivers are siphoned off, not just for the animals but also for crops grown to feed animals on factory farms."
