Porn star Stormy Daniels - the very same who made astonishing allegations about having had an affair with US President Donald Trump - stirred up a, well, storm, on social media after she posted her ‘review’ of the latest Star Wars movie, The Last Jedi. The divisive film that scored well with the critics but received a mixed response from audiences, found another hater in Stormy Daniels, born Stephanie Clifford.

In a concise tweet shared on December 17, the adult star wrote the words, “F**k you Rian Johnson.” Johnson is the director of The Last Jedi, and he is very active on social media. Daniels’ tweet gained further momentum when the filmmaker decided to respond, with an equally to-the-point tweet.

On January 25, Johnson responded to Daniels’ original tweet with a starry-eyed emoji. The same day, star Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars films, shared a screenshot of the exchange with a message of his own. “Another satisfied customer,” he wrote, along with an emoji of lips.

It was recently reported that Daniels was involved in an affair with Donald Trump in 2006. It was also alleged that she was paid $130,000 in hush money mere days before the 2016 presidential election.

The reactions to her tweet against Star Wars, a movie that has earned close to $1.3 billion worldwide since its late December release, making it the highest-grossing film of 2017, and has received four Oscar nominations, attracted several reactions of its own. One person wrote, “You’ve starred in worse movies.”

Here are some other reactions to the tweet, including a few by fellow directors such as Ava DuVernay, James Gunn and James Mangold, who couldn’t resist tweeting:
