Spider-Man producer Laura Ziskin dies
The lady behind the Spider-Man franchise is no more! Laura Ziskin, one of the most influential female producers in Hollywood history, has died at 61. She was suffering from breast cancer.

The lady behind the Spider-Man franchise is no more! Laura Ziskin, one of the most influential female producers in Hollywood history, has died at 61.
Ziskin, who was fighting breast cancer battle for over seven years, died of the disease. In 2008, she founded an NGO which has raised more than $200 million to fight the disease.
In a career spanning over three decades, Ziskin is popularly known for No Way Out, Pretty Woman, As Good As It Gets and of course the Spider-Man franchise.
Ziskin was busy with the production of The Amazing Spider-Man starring Andrew Garfield at the time of her death.
