The Hollywood star is in London shooting The Mummy, the upcoming reboot of Universal’s classic monster franchise, and has been getting himself into a spot of bother with a 25 bus.
Hollywood star Tom Cruise is in London shooting The Mummy, the upcoming reboot of Universal’s classic monster franchise. And has been pictured getting himself into a spot of bother with a bus.
In the photos, Cruise is trapped in a mock-up of an overturned number 25 bus, while filming.
The 54-year-old actor has previously been seen shooting with Peaky Blinders star Annabelle Wallis, reported Digital Spy.

Cruise’s role is expected to follow in the footsteps of the archaeologist Rick O’Connell famously played by Brendan Fraser in the 1999 film.
Sofia Boutella will play the actual Mummy, while Russell Crowe is reportedly lined up to appear as Dr Jekyll in a cameo - before getting his own solo film.

Not much is known about The Mummy’s plot, other than it’s set in the present day.
Prometheus and Doctor Strange writer Jon Spaihts is working on the script, with JJ Abrams’s Fringe co-creator Alex Kurtzman directing. The Mummy is scheduled for release on June 9, 2017.
