78 bull tamers, spectators injured in Jallikattu at two places in Tamil Nadu

Six hundred bulls participated in the jallikattu at Keezha Anbil in Tiruchi district in connection with a temple festival.

Seventy eight bull tamers and spectators were injured in a jallikattu event held in Tiruchirappalli and Pudukottai districts and have been admitted to hospitals, police said on Monday.

Six hundred bulls participated in the jallikattu at Keezha Anbil in Tiruchi district in connection with a temple festival on Sunday, police said, adding that 44 persons including 18 spectators were injured in the game.

In Pudukottai, 34 persons sustained injuries.
