Earlier in the day,, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Taj Mahal in Agra on Tuesday, a day after New Delhi and Tel Aviv signed nine pacts to boost bilateral ties in strategic areas.
UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath received the Israeli Prime Minister at the Taj. As has been the practice during VIP visits, the Taj was closed for public viewing during Netanyahu’s visit.
Netanyahu will leave for Ahmedabad and then Mumbai on Wednesday.
