The court also directed the Tihar jail authorities to produce Michel before it on Tuesday after his lawyers Aljo K Joseph and Vishnu Sharma moved a plea seeking to change his cell.

Michel, who has been lodged in Tihar Jail since December 19, 2018, had submitted a letter to the Special CBI Judge Arvind Kumar contending that he has been given an isolation cell in a jail full of 27 prisoners from Kashmir. He added when he was lodged in jail number 7, he was kept with other white collar accused.

His lawyers submitted that he is allowed to come out of the cell for one hour a day.
