“Cow is our mother. Its excreta and urine are nectar and have power to save humans from any disease. If cow dung can treat cancer, why can’t it save us from a phone’s microwaves?” 76-year-old Shankar Lal, Akhil Bharatiya Gau Sewa pramukh, asked.

He further said that all the members of his group use cow dung on their phones since they know of its ‘magical effects’.
Lal also attributed his longevity and good health to drinking cow urine and eating dung extracts. “We make pregnant women eat cow dung and urine paste to ensure a normal delivery. We treat all deadly diseases with cow dung,” he added.
However, the advice came with a caveat. Lal warned that the ‘gobar’ must only be of the Indian desi cow. Labelling western Jersey or Holstein cattle varieties ‘monsters’, he said their dung and milk were ‘nothing but poison’.
