Firing at Karnal district court, policeman injured

Three unidentified people fired three round inside and outside the courtroom, when the police was bringing gangster Neeraj Punia, his brother Brijpal Singh, and others for hearing in the court of additional district and sessions judge Gurwinder Singh Wadhwa.

Two people, including a policeman received bullet injuries in firing at Karnal district court on Tuesday.

As per the reports, three unidentified people fired three round inside and outside the courtroom, when the police was bringing gangster Neeraj Punia, his brother Brijpal Singh, and others for hearing in the court of additional district and sessions judge Gurwinder Singh Wadhwa.

An eye witnesses said a police personnel and Brijpal Singh received injuries in the firing and were rushed to the hospital.

According to police, all the three accused have been arrested.

Police are conducting further investigations in the matter.
