Indian woman beaten, stabbed to death in Kuwait; husband missing: Report

An Indian woman was beaten and stabbed to death in a suburb of Kuwait city, a media report said.

Her body was found in a pool of blood at a flat and the woman’s husband is missing, according to the report.

The body was “lying in a pool of blood with stab wounds and furniture scattered all over the place”, police said.

The flatmate of the deceased woman notified the Interior Ministry about her death, and a team of rescue men went to the scene, a security official was quoted as saying.

The woman’s identity was not revealed.

The body was handed over to the forensics department and an investigation was in progress to determine the whereabouts of the husband and bring the suspect to justice
