Kargil martyr’s statue vandalised in Hisar

The statue was broken by some unidentified miscreants on the intervening night of April 28 and 29, police said.

Statue of Kargil martyr Paviter Kumar was found vandalised in Haryana’s Milakpur village, approximately 40 km from Hisar, police said on Monday.

On the complaint of Saviter Singh, Paviter Kumar’s brother, a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) was registered by Narnaund police of Hisar district.(HT Photo)

The statue was broken by some unidentified miscreants on the intervening night of April 28 and 29, police further said. It was the family of the martyr that noticed that the statue had been vandalised.

On the complaint of Saviter Singh, Paviter Kumar’s brother, a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) was registered by Narnaund police of Hisar district.
