A local CPI(M) leader and his three friends were arrested on Saturday for allegedly assaulting a pregnant woman and two policemen in an inebriated condition after her car hit their vehicle in south Kerala’s Kollam on Thursday night.
According to police, a scuffle ensued after the woman’s car hit the vehicle Antonio Williams, the CPI(M) leader, and his friends were in, following which they allegedly dragged the woman out of her car and kicked in her stomach.
