“Everyone knows that Ram Nath Kovind is going to become the next President of India. The allies of the NDA who are in power in 17 states of the country have already agreed to support Kovindji,” Ram Madhav said in Guwahati.

“Apart from this, some other parties who are not allies of the NDA have also decided to support Kovindji,” he told leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies in Assam.

“NDA partners have 49% of the vote value,” he said. Of the total 10,95,000 vote value, Kovind enjoyed the support of 6,60,000 votes, he added.

Ram Madhav also appealed to the MLAs and MPs of Assam and the northeast to vote for Kovind so that he wins the July 17 election with a record margin.
