Narada like today’s internet search engine Google, says Gujarat CM Rupani

Vijay Rupani says collecting information was Narada’s dharma for betterment of the humankind, and it is very much required.

Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani has equated Sage Narada, the messenger of the gods in Hindu mythology, with internet search engine Google.

“Narada was a man who had information about everything happening in the whole world. This is relevant in today’s time. Collecting information was his dharma (religion) for betterment of the humankind, and it is very much required.

“Just like Narada, Google is the source of information,” he said at an event organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh-affiliated Vishwa Samvad Kendra to celebrate Devrishi Narad Jayanti here.

“Narada’s character featured in both Indian epics, Ramayana and Mahabharata, and he was known for carrying information around the universe,” Rupani added.
