Nida Khan, an accused in TCS-linked BPO's sexual abuse and religious conversion case, has been granted bail by Nashik court on Monday.

However, the court denied a similar relief to co-accused Danish Shaikh, news agency PTI reported.
Khan was arrested for her alleged role in the relgious conversion and sexual harassment case at TCS-linked BPO in Nashik in May after a 42-day hunt. She had approached the court for bail a week after her arrest.

Additional Sessions Judge (Nashik Road court) K G Joshi, in his order, noted that accusations against Shaikh's appears to be "grave in nature".
"Considering the nature of punishment, possibility of tampering (with) evidence, fleeing away from justice, threatening the witnesses, (and) emotionally black-mailing (them), can not be ruled out," the Judge observed while rejecting his bail plea.

{{/usCountry}}However, a reasoned court order on Khan's bail was not available yet. A third accused in the case, Tausif Akhtar -- who was also granted bail.

According to the police, a female colleague had accused Khan of hurting her religious sentiments and attempting to influence her religious beliefs.
During the investigation, the SIT allegedly found that Khan had shared Islamic religious material, including books and videos, with the complainant. Investigators are also probing Khan’s alleged links in Malaysia, as she had reportedly assured the complainant of helping her secure a job there.
A woman at the centre of the TCS Nashik sexual harassment and conversion case had told investigators she was repeatedly asked to watch videos of a Pakistani preacher and other religious speakers to allegedly influence her faith.
The 23-year-old complainant alleged that the accused introduced her to Islamic teachings through videos of Pakistani cleric Tariq Jamil and speeches by controversial preacher Zakir Naik, PTI reported.
While the police had alleged that Khan was on the run after the case came to light, her family claimed that she was pregnant and at her home and that no police official had come to their house to search for her.
