Parliament monsoon session Highlights: Rajya Sabha adjourned sine die

Friday was the last day of the monsoon session of the Parliament. Here are the highlights.

The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned sine die on Friday, as the Monsoon Session ended after passing 21 laws, including one to amend the SC/ST Act and another relating to the Fugitive Economic Offenders

Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said the session has been the “more productive and safisfactory” compared to the previous Budget Session and last year’s monsoon session.

Monsoon Session of the Rajya Sabha, which began on July 18, has been adjourned sine die: ANI.

The Lok Sabha was adjourned sine die on Friday, as the Monsoon Session ended after passing 21 laws, including one to amend the SC/ST Act and another relating to the Fugitive Economic Offenders.
