Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi had left for abroad on March 16 to be with his mother and accompany her back to India following the check-up.

Sonia, 70, returned to India on Friday. In the Lok Sabha, she was seen interacting with party colleague Mallikarjun Kharge. At one point when her party member KC Venugopal was speaking against the “manner” in which the GST bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha, she asked why it was not listed in the business of the House.
