11 girls killed in Alwar road accident

At least 12 people, including 11 college girls, are killed and three injured when a mini bus collided with a truck.

At least 12 people, including 11 college girls, were killed and three injured on Monday when a mini bus they were travelling in collided with a truck near Alwar in Rajasthan, police said.

The incident occurred at around 8.30 am at Ghasoli, 15 km from Alwar, when the bus driver tried to overtake a truck and got hit by another truck head on, a police official said.

The students were going to a private college at Pattan-Aheer in Alwar district. The injured girls were admitted to a hospital.
