13 senior officials transferred in UP

In a senior-level bureaucratic reshuffle, Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday night transferred four IAS and nine IPS officers, including Finance Secretary Deepak Trivedi.

Trivedi was made commissioner Food and Civil supplies and Secretary, Personnel, BN Dixit is the new Finance Secretary.

Home department sources here said Superintendents of police Shahjahanpur, Bijnore, Kanpur Dehat, Fatehgarh and Pilibhit districts have been shifted.

SP, Shahjahanpur, Satyavir Singh has been transferred to Bijnore in the same capacity, the sources said adding Vir Bahadur Singh, SP, Kanpur Dehat was moved to Shahjahanpur.

SP, Fatehpur, Laxmi Singh has been replaced by RK Swarnkar and SP, Pilibhit, Sugriv Giri has been replaced by Ramit Sharma. N. Ravinder has been made the new SP of Kanpur Dehat.
