2 Pak nationals gunned down by BSF guards in Barmer

Two Pakistan nationals were gunned down by Border Security Force (BSF) guards near international border in Barmer, Rajasthan. The incident occurred early morning today. Mahesh Langa reports.

Two Pakistan nationals were gunned down by Border Security Force (BSF) guards near international border in Barmer, Rajasthan. The incident occurred early Friday morning.

"Two persons were trying to infiltrate crossing international border. Both were killed by guards of BSF 171 battalion, which guards the border in desert area," a BSF official told HT in Ahmedabad.

He added that the duo were riding a camel, which has also injured from the bullet.

"We are investigating details like how they reached near international border, which area in the neighboring country they came from and what was their motive for infiltrating the border," the official added.
