The bus, with 63 on board, turned turtle at around 4:30 am, trapping the passengers, who were rescued by locals.

Condition of four of the 21 injured is stated to be critical and they have been taken to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital, SP PK Sanyal said adding three women were among the seriously wounded. The 17 others, including four women, were being treated at Islampur Sub-Divisional Hospital, he said.
