3 terrorists killed in J&K encounter

A huge cache of arms and ammunition were recovered from the deceased terrorists.

Three unidentified terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, official sources said.

The encounter took place at Milyal forest in Kraligund area of Kupwara district when a search party of army confronted the terrorists early on Thursday, the sources said.

Three terrorists were killed in the gunbattle, which lasted for several hours, they said.

A huge cache of arms and ammunition were recovered from the deceased terrorists, whose identity and group affiliation is being ascertained, the sources added.
