354 marriage guests fell ill in Srinagar

Three hundred fifty four marriage guests fell ill after taking meals at a marriage held at Khonmoh.

Three hundred fifty four marriage guests fell ill after taking meals at a marriage held at Khonmoh. However, none of them is serious and all are stable. These guests had taken meals at the marriage ceremony of Manzoor Ahmad Chopan, son of Late Ghulam Ahmad Chopan on Monday.

These guests complained of Dohheria and Stomach pain on Tuesday. POlice said that 314 of them were admitted in government Health Centre Khonmoh today, of whom 302 were discharged after initial. Police said that 12 were still being treated in the hospital.

Forty other ill persons were admitted to Government health centre Pampore out of which 36 have been discharged while 4 have been admitted.

An fficial spokesperson said that police is investigating into the cause of food poisoning. SDPO Nehru park is camping in Khonmoh.
