38 people injured in two accidents

AT LEAST 38 people including 26 children were injured in two separate incidents after two buses overturned today, police said. About 24 people including 23 children were injured, four of them critically, when their bus overturned after it rammed into a tree at Mandu tourist spot, the police said.

AT LEAST 38 people including 26 children were injured in two separate incidents after two buses overturned today, police said. About 24 people including 23 children were injured, four of them critically, when their bus overturned after it rammed into a tree at Mandu tourist spot, the police said.

The children were returning from the Rani Roopmati Palace when the incident occurred. On receiving information, SP Deepika Suri reached the spot and had the injured admitted in the hospital. While the bus driver and three children, who were critically injured, were admitted to Indore Hospital, 10 children were taken to Bhoj Hospital in Dhar.

In another incident, 14 people including three children and eight women were injured when a private bus overturned at Bherughat near Barwani district. The bus was returning from Barwani when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
