The arrests came on Saturday and Sunday in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka, opposition spokesman Mofazzal Hossain Maya said.
An alliance of 14 opposition parties has asked its supporters to march into Dhaka on Tuesday to press for poll reform and to urge chief election commissioner MA Aziz and his two deputies to resign.
The opposition accuses the election officials of bias toward Prime Minister Khaleda Zia's government, a charge they deny.
