Police said, Shiva, a nursery student, used to accompany his elder brother to Dev Smita’s house for tuition. On Thursday, after Shiva reportedly wet his trousers, Smita lost her temper and beat the child. Police said, “Her mother instigated her to use red-hot tongs on him to teach a lesson.”

Shiva has reportedly suffered burns on his hands, face, legs and other vital organs.

Shiva’s elder brother allegedly pleaded them to let his brother go. The two reportedly also threatened the victim’s family against reporting the matter to the police.
