6 more die of encephalitis in eastern UP, toll touches 376
Seven more persons succumbed to encephalitis in Mahrajganj, taking the toll due to the viral fever to 376 in eastern Uttar Pradesh, health officials said in Mahrajganj on Saturday.

Seven more persons succumbed to encephalitis in Mahrajganj, taking the toll due to the viral fever to 376 in eastern Uttar Pradesh, health officials said in Mahrajganj on Saturday.
The victims of the deadly vector-borne disease were mostly children, they said, adding 26 fresh cases are still being treated in hospitals.
Over 2000 children suffering from encephalitis had been admitted in the medical college in Gorakhpur and other hospitals this year, the officials said.
