9-yr-old Jaipur prince crowned king of Sirmaur

Nine-year-old Lakshya Raj Parkash Singh, grandson of Rajmata of Jaipur Padmini Devi, was crowned the king of the erstwhile Sirmaur royal family in a traditional coronation (mangal tilak) ceremony on Wednesday.

The ceremony was performed at the royal palace, which was attended by actor Dimple Kapadia, Sunanda Pushkar, wife of union minister Shashi Tharoor, along with the rulers and royals of around 48 erstwhile princely states of UP, Punjab, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh.
