A-I Rank and Bolt Award winners to leave for Singapore on Oct 6
Ajit Kumar Dwivedi and Mrs Aarti Kumar of Bhopal the winners of the state-level Air-India-HindustanTimes.com Rank and Bolt Awards for students and teachers will leave for a three night four day trip to Singapore on October 6. They will join the winners from other 18 states for the visit that is being jointly sponsored by Air-India and Singapore Tourism Board.

According to Mr Subroto Ghosal, Project Co-ordinator, Air-India this award recognises excellence amongst students and teachers. This trip is an endeavor towards greater cooperation and educational exchange that will mutually benefit India and Singapore, He said that Singapore has been specifically chosen since it is an excellent model of active, responsible and disciplined citizenship.
Moreover Singapore has also been termed as one of the best designed Aisan cities promoting education. This project has drawn a tremendous response from students and teachers all across the country. From among the overwhelming response 55 lucky winners have been selected for the trip to Singapore, said Ghosal. As a part of promoting education tourism in India this trip will make the students and the teachers aware of the various courses and scholarships available for pursuing higher education in Singapore.
Singapore Education offers a broad-based curriculum and global perspective to equip students with the relevant qualifications and training that serve as a springboard to a bright future.
He said that the trip has been specially designed for the children and teachers to familiarize them of the various education centers such as Singapore Science Center, Asian Civilisation Museum, Singapore Management University. Seminars and lectures have also been organised for the teachers and students on the occasion.
