The first thing I have in the morning: A cup of masala tea with ginger. I have about 4-5 cups of tea in the entire day. For breakfast, I have omelette with bread and a glass of mosambi juice.
My diet: I am a foodie. I am basically a vegetarian. But I eat chicken sandwiches or burgers. I may make concession for fish. And I love eggs in any form.
My lunch: When I am at home, I eat a proper meal which comprises dal, chawal, sabzi and roti. When I’m recording, I eat anything, be it a sandwich or samosas or bhel. In summer, I’d have sweet lassi and preferably light meals.
My favourite snacks: In the rains, I would love a plate of paneer pakodas, hot samosas and a cup of hot tea. I also enjoy eating patties and oven-fresh cheese pizzas.
I relish: Rich and creamy orange biscuits as well as makhni dal with soaked-in-butter tandoori rotis. I also love kadi with soft pakodas, mashed potatoes and baked beans.
My comfort food:Paani puri, bhel and all kinds of chaats.
My dinner: When I am dining at home, I sometimes request my mother to make my favourite egg curry. The food that smells wow
today is egg curry.
My favourite dessert: I am not a dessert person. I eat a gulab jamun, occasionally. But I make an exception for vanilla pastries and chocolates.
A childhood memory associated with food: I wasn’t a fussy eater, but I made my mom run after me to make me eat. I loved eating rajma with roti. I would love chewing each bean of rajma and enjoying its texture.
My idea of a romantic meal: I’d like to sit at a beach, under those big umbrellas. My drink would be non alcoholic Pina colada. The sun should be setting and we should talk, talk and talk.
