Aamir to play Lal Bahadur Shastri?

If grapevine is to be believed, Aamir Khan is all set to play India's third Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, in Manoj Kumar's historical film, to be scripted by the veteran actor.

We last heard Manoj Kumar's tiff with Farah Khan and SRK over Om Shanti Om episode. But now, the veteran actor has moved ahead in life after burying the hatchet with both Farah and SRK. He is now ready with the script of a film on India's third Prime Minister, Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Manoj Kumar has reportedly Aamir Khan in his mind for the film.

Last time, Manoj was eager to cast Amitabh Bachchan in a movie. But since the megastar was busy with various other projects, the film couldn't take off.
