Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress have moved the Election Commission against chief minister Vasundhara Raje for her hate speech during her public meeting in Karauli district.
AAP Rajasthan media coordinator Mulkraj Anand said the two national parties Congress and BJP practice politics of religion based on the principle of divide and rule. Whenever, the election time approaches these parties start polarizing the masses through hate speeches and provocative religious remarks.
He said Congress MLA Imran Masood a few days ago in a speech had said "I will cut Modi to pieces" and in reply to Masood's statement Raje had told " now we will see who will be cut into pieces after the elections."
"We would like to ask Raje, if she deserves to hold the office of the state even after resorting to such offensive remarks," Anand said.
AAP has requested the Election Commission to take strict and immediate action against such offenders to protect the national integrity.
Congress in Delhi too has written a letter to Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath against Raje's remarks in her rally in Karauli distirct. KC Mittal, secretary of AICC Legal Department in his letter to CEC claimed that Raje had said that "let the elections be over, we will see who is cut into pieces" at the rally.
