Accused of Sabarmati train carnage dies in jail

An accused, involved in the burning of Sabarmati Express in Godhra, died today in Sabarmati jail here after a prolong illness, jail officials said.

The accused, Hussain Mohammad Dhobhi (65), reportedly involved in the burning of S-6 coach of the train, died today after a prolong illness, they said.

Dhobhi was arrested after the train burning incident on February 27, 2002, in which 59 'karsevaks' coming from Ayodhya lost their lives.
