The order was passed recently by designated judge of Narcotics Drugs and Psycotropic Drugs Sustance court PN Deshmukh on a plea made by Fardeen Khan's lawyer Ayaz Khan.
Khan, who recently married Natasha Madhwani, daughter of former actress Mumtaz, had submitted that he may be allowed to visit his in-laws in Nairobi.
The court directed Khan to deposit his passport with police after his return from Nairobi. Khan was also told to attend the court if his presence was necessary.
The actor was arrested in 2001 by Narcotics Control Bureau sleuths on the charge of possessing one gram of cocaine. Later, he was granted bail.
The trial in this case has not yet begun.
Two other accused, Nasir and Anthony Gomes, alleged to have supplied narcotics to Khan, have also got bail.
