Aftab Shivdasani turns producer!

The Mast boy is keeping the project under wraps, reports Johnny D.

With actors like Sunjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Suneil Shetty, Saif Ali Khan, Aamir Khan and many others turning producers, it is Aftab’s turn now. Yes, the Mast boy is ready to add another leaf to his career.

However, Aftab is not keen on revealing much about the project. His father confirms the news saying, “Yes, he is turning producer but there are lots of things to be worked out. So things are just progressing slowly and steadily but there are too many things to get into the right place. Let us see how things shapes up?”

Aftab prefers not to say much. “It is too early to talk about it. Things are at a nascent stage and I really cannot divulge much about it. Yes, I am turning producer!” However, sources confirm that Glenn, who had earlier directed Aftab in Jane Kya Hoga Kya, will be directing the film. And Aftab in all likelihood will play the hero in the film. The hunt for heroine is currently going on.” The movie, if sources are to be believed, will go on floor some time in April.

Aftab, whose three films are expected to release this year, was last seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s Mr Ya Miss in a special guest appearance. He will be seen in RGV’s Darwaza Bandh Rako, Vikram Bhatt’s Ankahee, Subhash Ghai’s Shaadi Se Pehle,Speed and a couple of other projects.
